From the Principal

I hope you have had a great week. Next week Monroe's Student Council is having a Spirit Week. Please see the flyers below if your student would like to participate. Included in this newsletter is also information about Kindergarten Registration. There is the link to sign up through Final Forms. Mrs. Vaughn has also created a sheet listing all of the documents that you will need to upload for registration.

Over the next several weeks our third and fourth grade students will be taking the Panorama Survey. This is the same survey that they took in the fall. This survey measures students competencies and well-being plus learning supports and the school environment. The survey content will ask students to reflect on student engagement, sense of belonging, teacher-student relationships, self-management, emotion regulation, and rigorous expectations. We began these surveys in the Spring of 2019 and again we are asking our 3rd-11th grade students to participate in the survey as their responses will provide invaluable insights into their experiences and how we can improve and adapt our instruction to their needs. We are partnering with Panorama Education, a third-party vendor, to support us in administering these surveys. Please let your child's teacher or me know if you have any questions/concerns.
