End of 1st Quarter
It is hard to believe that we have reached the completion of our first quarter. Students have been working hard. You can look for grades to be shared at parent teacher conferences on the 17th of October. Continue to encourage your child to do their best as we begin 2nd quarter.
Parent Teachers Conferences will be Oct. 17
As we begin the 2nd quarter of the year we have Parent/Teacher conferences scheduled so you can meet with your child's teacher and discuss their progress so far. This year P/T Conferences will be held in October 17. We do not have a regular scheduled school day in order to have more time to meet with you and other parents. A link to an online scheduling site “signup genius” will be sent out Monday around 9:00 am for you to be able to choose the best time slot that works for you. Please remember that signups are available on a first come, first serve basis. You are to only sign up with your home room teacher. Meetings are limited to 15 minutes to make time for all parents. If you need additional time just request a meeting after school on a different day when it will be convenient.
Parents of middle school will meet with their child's homeroom teacher. If you want to also meet with a subject area teachers please feel free to contact them and request a meeting on a different day after school.
Monday morning praying Mommas
We have been mentioning Devotions for Dads but did you know that Moms are meeting too? Monday mornings praying mammas are meeting each at Mountain Coffee between 7:45 to 8:30am. Moms, please connect with each other and pray for our KAES kids.

All KAES students in 2nd grade and above are eligible to tryout for gymnastics.
Moses Mountaintop Challenge
We are about halfway through with our prayer journaling challenge but there is still time to decide to take the challenge and accomplish it before Christmas break. Journals are available for $5 in the office.
Save the Date! Gymnasium Dedication on OCT 23
You are invited to the dedication of our new KAES Gymnasium. It has been an incredible journey seeing how God blessed at every stage of the process. We want to take a moment to recognize God and those that He used to provide our gym. We will have light refreshments after the ribbon cutting ceremony followed by a chance to walk through the gymnasium.
Red Ribbon Week Oct. 24-28
Celebrate LIFE. Live Drug Free. I know I am ready for Red Ribbon Week. Home and School has been planning some fun ways to acknowledge that we don't want anything to do with drugs. Check out the schedule above and start planning how you can join in this special week.
Sterling Volunteers and Field Trips
Classes are heading out on field trips. Don’t get left behind. Any person that wants to attend a class field trip must be cleared through Sterling volunteers one week prior to the field trip. Plan ahead and make sure you are cleared now so you don’t have any problems later. Information on how to do this is on our website but our office is also available to help.
