Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 disappeared when it was on route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on March 8 2014.

Saturday March 8th
Malaysian flight takes off at 12:41 a.m. local time on Saturday, and is due to land in Beijing at 6:30 am on the same day. the flight carried 227 passengers and 12 crew members there were at least 12 different nationalities on the flight. about a hour of taking off the flight loses contact with air traffic controllers the last known position of the flight was 120 nautical miles of the east coast of the Malaysian town OF Kota Bharu. a quote from the airlines chief executive Ahmad Jauhari Yahya says that it was flying in good good weather conditions and just mysteriously disappeared without warning or a distress signal
