WES Students to Perform with Rock Band

Fourth and fifth grade students at Widefield Elementary School will be performing with alternative rock band The Mowgli's on April 28. Together they will be singing the band's hit song "I'm Good," a song with roots in anti-bullying which follows along greatly with the school's Rachel's Challenge campaign. The event will be recorded as part of RXP 103.9's Soundstage web feature and for the band and school to use. YES, the song will be played on the radio! Unfortunately, the performance is closed to the public, but once the music video and song is released, it will be shared throughout the district. This up close interaction with The Mowgli's is set to inspire the music-focused students to continue excelling in the performing arts.
