High Expectations: Every Scholar, Every Day
A Word from Principal Haynes
Greetings Parents,
The school year is ALMOST over!! But these last days are extremely important for scholars to continue to remain focused on the activities and work they have to do. Please remind them to stay focused daily.
End of year award ceremonies are fast approaching. All scholars in PK (Head Start), Kindergarten, and 5th Grade will be recognized at their end of year ceremony. For grades 1-4, only scholars receiving an award will be recognized. If your scholar will be receiving an award, you will receive an invitation to the ceremony.
Parents--it is IMPORTANT that ALL scholars are wearing their uniform EVERY DAY!! We have too many scholars coming to school without uniforms. Please follow this expectation.
Thank you for all you do each and every day for our Village. Your support is appreciated!!
Let's make this another great week of High Expectations--Every Scholar--Every Day!!!
Wishing you an AMAZING and BLESSED week!!

ID Badges
Parents, we are making sure that all of our scholars have ID badges everyday. These are not typically sent home. Remember it is DISTRICT policy that all scholars wear their badge while on campus. The school is responsible for replacing the badges up to 3 times (costs approximately $200 for each batch). After this, a cost will be charged for the replacement. Please talk to your child about not chewing on the badges/sleeves, not throwing them away, not bringing them home, not leaving it on the bus, and anything else that could cause them to lose it.
Student Uniforms
Village Elementary is a mandatory unified dress code school. For security reasons, it is expected that all students are in uniform, Monday through Friday with the exception of designated school spirit days which will be announced ahead of time. The student dress code guidelines outlined in the Code of Student Conduct will be enforced. Repeated violations of the dress code may result in A REFERRAL FOR DEFIANCE OF AUTHORITY.
