presentation apps for the iPad
It's all in the presentation
When the project, presentation or lesson is more than one image, it's time to pull out one of many presentation apps that are available. Again, there are many options and we are highlighting just three of them. Explore all the possibilities and use what is best for you.
These have worked for us.
Slide Shark
All those powerpoint presentations can now become mobile by loading them onto slide shark and using an air server. This is an excellent transition for the old school people.
Animoto
Excellent, quick and dirty way to present photos. Good selection of formats and copyright right free music list. I would recommend paying for the pro version for yourself if you are going to use it a great deal.
Snap guide
Basically this is Pinterest in the classroom. The site has hundreds of step by step instructions that you might find helpful in the classroom but you can also create your own. With your own photos and lines of text you can create sequential instructions.
Taking the show on the road
The basic presentation for my KASL conference presentation was done on a good old power point format and then moved to Slide shark.
a couple of examples
Below we have two examples. The Animoto presentation is designed to be a guiding question for a discussion of public art. The Snap guide presentation also addresses Apps Gone Free.
Is it or is it not?
