My Hero

part 1

You are like the bright sunshine

Even in the frigid winter

your love makes me feel like standing in warm spring

You are like a strong tree

Even in the rainy days

your love makes me feel safe while standing under his leaves

Dad

You seldom say "I love you" to me

Your eyes shoe sternness, but more kindness and care.

Thank you for taking care of me and the whole family.

I hope you know how proud I am of you

You are always my super hero.

Dad, I love you.

Part 2

And then a hero comes along

With the strength to carry on

And you cast your fears aside

And you know you can survive

So when you feel like hope is gone

Look inside you and be strong

And you'll finally see the truth

That a hero lies in you

"Hero"

This is one of my favorite songs. I like the lyrics in it because the lyrics show the true meaning of hero. What is a real hero? Does he have to have super power? Does he have to have lots of muscles? Does he have to be super smart? The answer is no. "Look inside you and be strong

And you'll finally see the truth

That a hero lies in you", the lyrics give us the definition of a real hero. A real hero is not about the outside look but the inside, the soul. If a person has a strong soul and have the willing and courage to help others, help the society, then this person is a hero. Everyone can be the hero.

Be

Beowulf exemplifies the traits of the perfect hero, he is strong, powerful, courageous, but the most important characteristic of him is that he has the willing and courage to kill the monster to save people's lives. Even if he knows this could be a dangerous job; even if he knows the monster might kill him, but he did not give up on the challenge, and finally he killed the monster. He is the real hero because of his lofty and strong soul.

part 3

Bravery:

Bravery is a admirable characteristic that few people possess. In this story, bravery is the best weapon that helps Beowulf kill the monster. Even if he knows it is dangerous to face the monster; even if he know he might be killed by the monster, he is still fearless and this leads him to the final win. Bravery should not only be applied in warriors, but also in real life. When we have hard problems that needs to be solved, bravery is always our best friend who can helps us have the determination to overcome the problems.

Epics:

Beowulf is considered an epic poem in that the main character is a hero who travels great distances to prove his strength at impossible odds against supernatural demons and beasts.

Fate:

In beowulf, from his early adventures as a warrior to his later rule as king, fate strongly influences Beowulf’s beliefs and courage. He attributes the successful outcomes of his many fights and struggles to the reasons of fate. “Fate goes ever as fate must.”
