Nordic News Update

Week of Dec 14

Race Recap

WOW! What a great day we had at Craftsbury! Our non racing skiers made great strides (like that pun!) during their on snow practice in the morning! We are amazed at how quickly they are picking up the techniques. And its always great to see our returning skiers pick up where they left off last season- they too made significant improvements in just a few hours.

Our racers did fantastic! I think this is the first race (in my coaching history) that we have done with only 2 days of official on snow practice. Typically, we wait until we have at least a week of skiing in. Not this year! And our skiers rose to the challenge! Our boys won the meet and girls were second to U-32 (who have been skiing at Craftsbury since Thanksgiving)

Official Race Results can be found on our webpage here.
