Nordic News Update
Week of Dec 14
Our racers did fantastic! I think this is the first race (in my coaching history) that we have done with only 2 days of official on snow practice. Typically, we wait until we have at least a week of skiing in. Not this year! And our skiers rose to the challenge! Our boys won the meet and girls were second to U-32 (who have been skiing at Craftsbury since Thanksgiving)
Official Race Results can be found on our webpage here.
Monday- distance day running or roller skiing
Tuesday- running and strength circuit (predicted rain)
Wednesday- travel to Sleepy Hollow for intervals- we need drivers this day
Thursday- travel to Sleepy Hollow for hill bounding (unless pouring rain)
Friday- TBA- we are waiting to see if we can race on the weekend or not!
Saturday- waiting to see if we can race at Craftsbury or at alpine area!

Did Carly snag her tights while jumping the fence or did Amelia take a bite out of them?
One of the challenges during our interval races this week!
We're getting very skilled at pulling the mats out of the fitness center for some end of practice strength...everyone do a snow dance so we can ski!
