We will welcome students back to school on Wednesday, January 4th. Teachers have a work day on Tuesday, January 3rd. We hope that everyone had a great holiday break. We can't wait to see what our students accomplish this semester at EGE!

Boosterthon Kickoff - Thursday, January 5th

Elm Grove Elementary will be fundraising again this year, with Boosterthon hosting our ELMER’S EXCELLENT FUN RUN! The program kicks off with a Pep Rally for students on THURSDAY, JANUARY 5th. After our kickoff, families will gather pledges for every lap your student runs (30-35 laps) at the ELMER’S EXCELLENT FUN RUN. This year's event will be held on Friday, January 13th. Our school goal is to raise $12,000 for TECHNOLOGY, and we need your help! We’ve asked the experts at Boosterthon to power our fundraiser to make it easier, more profitable, and fun!

Spirit Day- Wednesday, January 11th- Torchy's

We will have a Spirit Day at Torchy's Tacos on Wednesday, January 11th. Torchy's will donate 15% back to EGE when you mention EGE while ordering. Please note that online orders will not be a part of the Spirit Day - only in person or called in orders will qualify.

MLK Day Holiday- Monday, January 16th

Students and staff will have a school holiday on Monday, January 16th in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Multicultural Heritage Night/Movie Night- Friday, January 20th

We will be hosting a Multicultural Heritage Night at EGE on Friday, January 20th from 5:30-7 p.m. We encourage you to celebrate your heritage by setting up a display table. Some ideas for the display include flags, photographs, artifacts, costumes, or small bites of traditional food - be creative! Please fill out this form or email mriggs@humbleisd.net by January 16th.

Attendance Matters

Attendance is very important to a child's education. If your child(ren) have to be absent for any reason, please report the absence.

When reporting an absence, it is important to include the child's first and last name, the teacher's name, date(s) they were absent, and the reason for the absence. Listed below are some options on how you can report an absence.

FREE & REDUCED APPLICATION - APPLY NOW!
