Unit 2: Estimation and Number Theory Test was September 20th. How did the test go?
- No Readiness Standards
- We do not use front end estimation.

- represent the product of 2 two-digit numbers using arrays, area models, equations, including perfect squares through 15x15 p. 5

- Round to hundred thousand place(use number lines)
- Round first in Texas, then add.

- Analyze given information to check for understanding and if answer is reasonable.
- Interpreting remainders- The remainder matters!

Unit 4 Fractions Test is November 8th. Preview if available.
- Readiness- 4.3 D Compare two fractions with different numerators and denominators. 4.3E Represent and solve addition and subtraction of fractions with equal denominators using objects and pictorial models that build to the number line and properties of operations.
- Supporting- 5 TEKS.
- We compare 2 different fractions, with different numerators and denominators, but no longer have to order.
