Bellville Elementary School
August 2021-Back to School!
At Bellville Elementary we are problem solvers, respectful, kind to all and ready to learn. Go Colts!
Letter From the Principal....
This year we have some new staff in our building, so please introduce yourself and make them all feel welcomed! Mr. Randy Pore will be the Interim Principal while I am out the first semester for health issues. Mrs. Megan McFerren has been hired as our building secretary and has been working hard to ensure we are ready for August 30th. Joining us as an intervention specialist for our kindergarten through second grade students is Miss Sarah Swank. We also have Mrs. Jenny Wend coming back to Bellville Elementary from the middle school to teach fifth grade mathematics. Also new to our building this year is Ms. Stephanie Heston who is a social worker and will be working with our students and families.
Class lists will be posted on the front and back of the building Friday, August 13th at 2:00 p.m. They will also be sent out via Remind. To keep our students safe, please do not post class lists on social media.
We will continue to require students to wash/sanitize hands frequently throughout the school day, but please help us by keeping your child home if they are ill. I have included the district's reopening plan in the newsletter, so please take a few minutes to read it. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call. As we all know, things can change frequently, so please visit cfcolts.org to ensure you have the most up-to-date information.
At this time, we are not permitting volunteers in the building, but we will revisit this regularly. We will be reinstating field trips this year, but these occur at the end of the school year.
I apologize for the length of the newsletter, but I wanted to make sure you had all of the information you needed to help your family have a smooth and stress free beginning to the year.
It is our hope that your child is as excited about this school year as we are! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns as you are a crucial member of our team! We are looking forward to an educational and exciting school year!
Sincerely,
Stacey Swank, Principal
