Lincoln Tech Updates

Kahoot! was one of the formative assessment tools shared at our institute day last year. I know several of you use it to help students review for tests, and now there is a "ghost mode" that will let students compete against their own previous scores!

Here is an article with more information on ghost mode.

Google It!

Do you have trouble finding files in your Google Drive? Now there is a new & improved search feature!

  • Click on the drop-down arrow in the Drive search box.
  • Search by file type (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Video, PDF, Image, etc.)
  • Search by when the file was last modified
  • Search by title or by words found in the document itself
  • Search by owner or who the document is shared with

Hopefully this will help you find what you're looking for more quickly!

EdCamp Global

Have you ever participated in an EdCamp? EdCamps are a form of free professional development where sessions are created by teachers for teachers. Sometimes the sessions are determined the day of the EdCamp, based on the needs/wants of those attending.

EdCamp Global is coming up on January 28 & 29. Unlike other EdCamps, this event is held online! That means you can jump into any session that you're interested in, at whatever time you're available.

Check out the EdCamp Global schedule to see if you are interested in any of the sessions! If you are interested but need help reading the schedule or figuring out how it works, I am more than happy to sit down with you and help!

You can also read more at the EdCamp Global event website.
