Jingle Ball
The PCMS Jingle Ball Champions for 2019 are the Red 11 team consisting of Will Johnson, Nehemiah Holtz, Ben Landolfi, and Patrick Norman. Congratulations!
They received their Jingle Ball tees and their name on the plaque. They will also invite the runner-up team to play with them against the teachers on the 20th.
That team is Heather Boyce (not shown-injured) David Johnson, Giovanni Dous, and Connor Walker.
Great play by all and 75 toys donated to the community. Thank you to everyone who donated to this awesome charitable event! Both teams will compete against the teachers on the afternoon of 12/20 in front of the entire student body.

The Pembroke Music Department is thrilled to announce that the following 8 students have been accepted to the 2020 Southeastern Junior District Music Festival. The students will attend a 2 -day festival March 13 & 14, 2020. Please congratulate these students if you have a chance to see them!

Food Drive
PCMS Food Drive Battle We are proud to announce that PCMS collected over 2,300 items that have been donated to the Firehouse Pantry here in Pembroke.

Community Notices
For additional information and more about other town events, check the Community Notices Virtual Backpack!
Here you will find information about upcoming town events such as youth sports, camps, town recreation, etc. We hope that this new “Community Notices” virtual backpack will help streamline communication between the community and school district.
We recommend checking the backpack weekly. If you would like to submit to the backpack you may do so through our broadcast email request form on our website.
Pembroke Youth Baseball and Softball Registration
Registration for the 2020 Spring Baseball and Softball season is open now through 2/29/20. There will be a $25 late fee for all registrations after 1/31/20. Players that register after 2/29/20 will be placed on a waitlist and are not guaranteed a roster spot.
Registration for Grades 1 through 8 includes Saturday hitting clinics in March.
All registered players from 1st to 8th grade are invited to attend our free spring baseball and softball hitting clinics.
The clinics will be held on the following dates: 2/29, 3/7, 3/14, 3/21, and 3/28 (if we cannot get outside).
Clinic Times:
10AM – All 1st Graders
11AM – Baseball 2nd grade
12PM – Baseball 3rd grade
1PM – Baseball 4th grade
2PM – Baseball 5th and 6th grade
3PM – Softball 2nd grade
4PM – Softball 3rd and 4th grade
5PM – Softball 5th and 6th grade
6PM – Baseball and Softball 7th and 8th Grade
Again, these clinics are offered as part of your spring registration fee. To attend the clinics you must be registered by the 2/29/20 deadline.
