Principal Update
Week of January 23, 2017
Good Afternoon,
January is really moving along! Dr. Turner and Peter Kosko were impressed with the efforts that our staff has taken to implement PBIS. Fortunately, we were already recognizing students' good behavior and citizenship so we weren't starting from scratch this year. Thank you for your imput and support of PBIS!
I hope you have taken the time to review the results from the student Gallup Poll. The Gallup Student Poll is a 24-question survey that measures the engagement, hope, entrepreneurial aspiration and career/financial literacy of students in grades five through 12. The Gallup Student Poll includes noncognitive metrics with links to student succcess.
I will be meeting with a focus group of fifth graders on Friday, January 27th during the 5th grade lunch to discuss the results of the Student Gallup Poll.
