Remote Learning
Richmond Drive Elementary
Dear Families,
We want to support you as your children work on assignments. Those of you with children in grades 3 - 5 will need a laptop at home to have access to the assignments in CANVAS. You are able to come to school on Wednesday, March 18 between 8:30 and 12:30 to pick up a laptop and power cord for these students if they did not take them home last Thursday.
Families of students in 4 year old kindergarten through 2nd grade can also come Wednesday, March 18 between 8:30 and 12:30 to pick up learning packets. These learning packets will also contain appropriate activities for your child to complete at home.
The work does not need to be completed in one day. The assignments are meant to last for numerous days. Directions will be given in the packets or on CANVAS for the older students.
If your child becomes frustrated, please discontinue the activity or adjust the activity so they are able to do some of the work.
With sincere thanks,
Janice Hyatt
Principal
