Professional development is a vital component for becoming an effective teacher and Southside High School teachers must complete all requests for successful completion of the 2014-15 Duty Planning Period professional development series. These requests include bringing your lap top to all sessions, completing homework assigned, and being punctual five minutes after the bell. Our session January 20 was a success due to many of you meeting these expectations.

Those teachers that brought work for Jan 20 and were not able to have it reviewed please bring the same items with you for the Feb 17 date. For all teachers yet to present be sure to scan and save it into the Staff (T) drive/14-15/MYP/Jan 20 PD folder.

Homework for February 17

•For IB/MYP Implement pre MYP/DP Internal Assessment activity using subject guide rubric (all or part).

•Non IB implement a formative assessment activity using a scaffolded strategy. Use rigor handouts to implement.

Scan and save student work samples to MYP folder (Jan 20 PD folder)!
