Dear O.C. Taylor Parents,
Click here to see the student video version of Tiger Time News.
Our Vision Committee met this past Weds., April 12. The committee took all of the input from the past five months to create a new mission statement. We voted and approved a new O. C. Taylor mission statement: Our mission is to create life-long learners and develop servant leaders through authentic, real-world experiences. How exciting! Life-Long Learners. Servant Leaders.
To our families celebrating Easter, Happy Easter! As always, my office door and email inbox are open. Let me know what your little Tiger needs!
To the greatest of days,
Principal Young

Technology Tip for Week: INTERNET SAFETY FOR PARENTS PRESENTATION
Keeping up with the latest apps and websites and teaching kids how to be safe online is a daunting task. Unfortunately, the most dangerous environment for our kids is the one at their fingertips, the one right there on their computers and phones.
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children Texas Regional Office (NCMECTX) is here to help! You are invited to attend this important discussion about which apps and websites kids are using, how to identify warning signs of kids engaged in risky behavior online, and how to discuss appropriate online behavior with kids.
