Proverb 1

“There is no death, only a change of worlds.”

- Duwamish

I think this quote means that you shouldn't think about death as a horrible thing, but you should think of it as a change of your world.

Proverb 2

"Our first teacher is our own heart'

- Cheyenne

I think this quote means that other people can teach you fun facts and other things like that, but nobody can teach you how to feel or what to believe.

Proverb 3

"Everyone who is successful must have dreamed of something"

- Maricopa

I think this quote means that anyone who have become successful must have wanted to be successful at that one thing and worked hard to become so good at what they do.

Proverb 4

"One rain does not make a crop"

- Creole

I think this quote means that you can't just do one thing and become successful, you need to work hard and have may great accomplishments.

Proverb 5

"We will be known forever by the tracks we leave"

- Dakota

I think this quote means that when you die, you will be known by the impression you leave.

Proverb 6

"You already possess everything necessary to become great"

- Native American Proverb, Crow

I think this quote means that you have everything in you to become great and you don't need anything else. EX: A singer; she has a voice but chose to buy a microphone
