Principal Message
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the 2019-2020 school year! Our Division Theme this year is “Love ~ First, Last, and Always! We Love, Because He First Loved Us! ~ 1 John 9:14
I am very excited to serve all of you in my third year as your principal. Thank you for considering École Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School as the school of choice for your child. We encourage you to talk to as many people as you can about our school and feel free to ask us any questions that you may have. École OLPH is a great school!
This new school year brings joy and excitement as we begin our new year with 372 students and 30 staff members. With all the new changes here at École OLPH, we are being given the opportunity to write a new chapter for École OLPH.
At École OLPH, we work in community to ensure the success of each learner. Our decisions and actions are focused on language development, fostering learning and an appreciation of culture, a healthy lifestyle and a safe and caring spiritual environment. Because middle school years are a time of academic, physical, and social growth, our team is focused on developing not only lifelong skills to be a successful student but also skills to be a kind, compassionate, and responsible citizen. We will make every effort to provide an exciting and stimulating environment designed to assist your child in reaching their mental, physical, and social potential while having a lot of fun!
As we work with our students to help them learn about the world around them through the prescribed curriculum, we very much value the support that parents give their children at home as they strive to reach their learning goals. The foundation of a successful school is the cooperation between the students, staff, parents, and community. Parents are a vital part of our school. As well, your contributions are important to the school through volunteer time and support of school activities. Please do not hesitate to involve yourself in our school community.
One of the greatest characteristics of École OLPH Catholic School learning community is the genuine care and compassion shared between staff, students, and parents. École OLPH Catholic School is a place where staff and families come together to ensure that the children entrusted into our care grow to be productive, confident, compassionate, members of a global society.
May the Peace which passes all understanding, which has its sources within the very nature of Father, Son and Spirit be with us as we embark on a new school year. May the gentle whisper of the God of peace speak to us through our work with all students.
May God bless all students, staff, and parents.

A Reading From The Gospel for Sunday, September 1, 2019
On one occasion when Jesus was going to the house of a leader of the Pharisees to eat a meal on the sabbath, they were watching him closely. He said also to the one who had invited him, "When you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, in case they may invite you in return, and you would be repaid.
But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind. And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you, for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."
The Gospel of the Lord.
