What is the STEM EcosySTEM?
Please CLICK HERE to read more about STEM EcosySTEMs. Region 9 ESC is excited to announce the inception of the Region 9 STEM EcosySTEM! The STEM EcosySTEM is a new partnership opportunity involving schools, parents, STEM education providers, community members, and businesses in preparing students for future STEM careers. In conjunction with the Texas Education Agency and Texas EcosySTEM, the Region 9 EcosySTEM will work to:
Vertically align Pre-K-12 STEM programs
Increase communication about STEM opportunities
Connect districts to STEM information and tools
Increase local business and community partnerships around STEM
Be an active part of the STEM community in Texas
This newsletter will be sent monthly and will include information about what's going on in the Region 9 STEM EcosySTEM as well as with STEM at the state level and beyond. Stay tuned for more information, as this initiative is only expected to grow over the coming years!
