All About Islam
Muslims believe in prayer and in God (Allah). Muslims celebrate Ramadan (the celebration of when the first verses of the Qur'an where revealed to Muhammad) and Eid al Fitr (celebration of the end of Ramadan). They worship in a Mosque on Fridays and are lead in the writings of the Qur'an by an Imam or Mullah. Their holy city is Mecca, Saudi Arabia and is the direction that Muslims should offer prayers in. Muslims believe in the Five Pillars of Islam: Shahadah, Salah, Zakat, Swam, and Hajj. Like Judaism and Christianity, Islam is a monotheistic religion with Abraham as its prophet.
