Dear CRHS Students and Families,
Welcome back to school! I hope each of you had some fun this summer and had some time to relax and recharge, so that you are ready for an exciting school year! I am thrilled to serve as your new principal. Teachers, counselors, custodians, and staff have worked hard to maintain a beautiful building, plan engaging lessons, and do all that is necessary to prepare for your return.
Remember throughout the year if you need help with anything your teachers, counselors, and administrators are here for you!
Please join us on Back to School Night, Wednesday August 28th anytime between 5-7 pm to pick up your schedules and meet your teachers! I am looking forward to seeing everyone on the first day of school Tuesday, September 3rd!

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year at CRHS. I would like to take this opportunity to share with you information regarding the health room:
A student information update form will be sent home the first day of school. Please fill this out completely and return as soon as possible. If your child has any health concerns or allergies please include this on the form.
Prescription medications while at school require a Medication Authorization form to be completed and signed by your healthcare provider AND signed by a parent/guardian. Medication CANNOT be given without this form in place.
ALL medication has to be brought to school by a parent/guardian in the original container.
Please keep your child home with a fever greater than 100.5, vomiting, and/or diarrhea. They need to be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school.
Choptank Community School Based Health Center will be available on Wednesdays.
Do not hesitate to contact me at 410-754-5078 if I can be of any assistance to advocate for your child’s healthcare needs.

September Graduation Spotlight
Welcome back to a brand new school year! I am the new graduation coordinator. One of my goals is to have an article in the newsletter each month to keep students and families updated with regard to graduation. The CRHS graduation is scheduled for Wednesday June 3, 2020 at 6pm.
Jostens will visit the school in late September/early October to take cap and gown orders. Our goal is to have all seniors’ orders submitted prior to Winter Break (December 20). I will assist with that. Payments are not due by this date, but orders should be submitted. After the new year, the prices increase. More information about this will be included in the next newsletter.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me by email at france.bernadette@ccpsstaff.org or by phone at 410.754.5575 ext. 2510. Please leave a message if I am not available to take your phone call. I look forward to this exciting journey with the seniors and their families!!
