DEADLINE IS MONDAY, APRIL 20TH AT 4:00 P.M. FOR INTRA-DISTRICT TRANSFER REQUESTS (see information below)
FROM THE PRINCIPAL...TONY WHITE
I'm focusing on gratitude this week. On behalf of my wife and our family, I want to thank you all for your kind words, congratulations, thoughts, and prayers for our son, John, who was born last Thursday morning. When people ask me about my job, I always tell them that the Norton Creek community is truly one of a kind. Your kindness, thoughtfulness, care, and support are incredible, and we will never forget it.
A lot can happen in a week! The picture on the left is a picture of John the day he was born, and the picture on the right is John leaving the NICU this afternoon a week later. This dude is ready for big things in his life. Every Eagle at our school is too, and undoubtedly, you all have a similar story, hopes, and dreams for your child. Let's make them real together!
Let's all recognize the growth we see in our Eagles (and ourselves for that matter...a time like a global pandemic will truly reveal a lot to us!) and celebrate it! Certainly, everyone has much to be proud of! Have a wonderful weekend, Norton Creek, and be safe.
Norton Creek Family Support Survey
In our effort to ensure our Eagles get the best care during remote learning, we have created a survey for you to complete. In this survey, you will find ways to let us know how much support your Eagle requires for remote learning and if you would like Norton Creek to provide your child with any additional social-emotional support. During this global pandemic, many people - adults and children - can feel isolated and afraid. We want to help any of our Eagles who have feelings that are difficult for them to manage.

Intra-District Transfer Requests deadline is April 20th at 4:00 p.m.
Even though our schools are closed, we will still process elementary school transfer requests for the 2020-2021 school year beginning on April 7 at 8:00 a.m.
For the 2020-21 school year, ALL elementary students have been assigned to their attendance area school by the District. This includes elementary students currently attending a school on an intra-district transfer. An Intra-District Transfer Request must be submitted online no sooner than 8:00 a.m. on April 7, 2020 and no later than 4:00 p.m. on April 20. A link to the request form will be posted on the District 303 web page (district.d303.org) by 8:00 a.m. on April 7.
If you are requesting a transfer for more than one child, a separate request must be submitted for each. Due to fluctuating class sizes at schools and each grade level, siblings are not guaranteed placement. If granted, transportation is the responsibility of the parents.
If you have questions about the process, please call the District office at 331.228.2000.
