CLASSROOM REFURBISHMENT DURING THE HOLIDAYS & WEEK 1 - 24 July
Year 4D have coped well with their temporary classroom this week!
We were greeted by a cloudless day on Monday, crisp but with no wind – perfect weather for our intrepid cross-country runners from Years Three to Six. The pushed hard around Jackadder Lake and are to be congratulated. Our teacher of Physical Education Rob Flexman was out there setting up while it was still dark, ensuring all would be well for the events. Thank you very much Rob for being so organised, and for running such a great carnival! Lots of parents chipped in to help. Without you events like these just would not run! Thank you so much for your support.
2019 Holy Rosary Cross Country
On July 1st all Year 3 to 6 students participated in the Holy Rosary Cross Country at Jackadder Lake. The sun came out on the day and everyone had a fantastic time sharing their love or running with everyone trying their very best.
I would like to thank all of the staff and parents that helped out on the day. I would also like to say a special thank you to Sam Xanthis and Julie Catherall for all their efforts preparing the children through Running Club and the Cross Country Club this year.
We are now looking forward to the CPSSA Interschool Cross Country on July 30. More information to come about that event soon.
