Applying for a CPA License
Colorado Requirements
Colorado requires a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited baccalaureate granting college and 150 semester hours of non-duplicative coursework at the undergraduate or graduate level.
Specific Accounting course requirements include 33 semester hours of non-duplicative coursework at the undergraduate or graduate level with course grades of C (or equivalent) or greater.

Kansas Requirements
Kansas requires a candidate of the initial examination to be a resident or have a place of business as a public accountant in, or be permanently employed by a public accounting firm in Kansas.
Educational courses require a concentration in accounting of at least 42 semester credit hours in business and general education courses. Additional detailed course information can be found by clicking here.
Missouri Requirements
Missouri requires 150 credit hours. Thirty-three semester hours in accounting, including:
- 3 in auditing
- 27 semester hours in upper division accounting courses (NOT accounting law and/or business law courses).

Tennessee Requirements
Tennessee requires 150 semester hours within a baccalaureate degree:
- 30 semester hours of accounting education including elementary level
- Not more than 3 semester hours for internship programs which may be applied to 30 semester hours in accounting.
