What is underage drinking?

Underage drinking is when someone under the legal drinking age of 19 in Ontario has had some alcohol

How can you tell if someone is Underage Drinking

They have/are:

  • Slurred Speech
  • Memory Loss
  • Changing groups of Friends
  • More secretive
  • Personality Changes
  • In Denial
  • Bad coordination



Boys usually try a drink by age 11 girls usually try a drink by 13.

If you get caught you will get a 500$ ticket minimum and will have to do 60 hours of community service.

Young people who drink alcohol are more likely to attempt suicide.
