The RCI Portal will have a bevy of new changes in the June release. Please take note of the following updates:

"Reset Criteria" will no longer be displayed on an Ongoing Search. Instead, there is now an "x" next to each region or resort(s) that can be removed individually for modifications.

The Available Units page will now display at-a-glance points or weeks inventory.

There is now an ADA acknowledgement that is required to check when setting up or modifying any search.

Under "Exchange Search", the option for "Ongoing Search" is no longer listed. Advisors must now search for inventory before they can set up an Ongoing Search.

After performing an Exchange Search, the available units will be displayed. If the Member does not want any of the available units, the system will now allow you to exclude them from the ongoing search, so a form is no longer needed. Notes should still be left in AS400z detailing what unit sizes and resorts the Member does not want. There is a possibility that if an RCI Member deposits more inventory into RCI, it could trigger the unit size or resort to populate as a match for the current Ongoing Search.

When creating or modifying an ongoing search that is resort specific, you will now enter in one resort number per line. The name of the resort will populate if it is a valid resort ID due to a validation and a verification process when setting up the search. Please note: there is still a limit of 48 resorts and 2 regions per search.
NOTE: If an invalid resort is added (for example, a Concierge Collection resort) an error message will display if attempting to set up the search, and will not let you continue until a valid resort is chosen.

When setting up a search, you will now have the option to exclude all-inclusive resorts (when applicable) if requested by the Member.

Some areas will allow an Advisor or Member to narrow down to a city in some areas. For example, you can narrow the search down from Hawaii to Waikoloa if desired.

The online chat screen has changed slightly. The following information will need to be provided during the chat:
  • First Name: DVC CM
  • Last Name: Advisor Phone Name
  • Reason For Chat: I have a question about vacation exchange
  • Member ID: Should autofeed and be included. If it does not, please include the Points ID Number, not the DVC Member Number
  • Phone Number: Leave Blank
  • Email Address: Leave Blank
