CB Calendar Updates

Due to snow dates in January, February and March - please note the changes to the School Calendar:


April 2 - Half-day for students - 12:10PM Dismissal; PM Conferences (snow day-1)

April 7 - Full-day for students (snow-day 2)

June 16 - Full-day for students (originally the last day of school)

June 17 - Full-Day for students (snow-day 3)

June 18 - Last Day - Half-Day for students - 12:10PM Dismissal (snow-day 4)


Note: School Calendar subject to change with any additional school cancellations.

Parent/Teacher Conferences - Student Participants

3rd Marking Period Conference Reports will go live for all students (Grades 1-6) at 9:00AM through the Online Parent Portal Accounts. For the 3rd Marking Period, your child will bring home their "Portfolio Preview" Folder to review in advance of conferences where parents, student and teacher will celebrate the growth and development this school year (so far). Scheduling a conference will be communicated by the classroom teachers on March 18th - via "Sign-Up Genius".

Tale of Two Technologies - Digital Literacy Town Hall Meeting - 3/18

Who: All parents from CB East Cluster - Holicong, Buckingham, Cold Spring, Warwick, Linden, and Bridge Valley

What: Digital Literacy Town Hall - “A Tale of Two Technologies: Digital Literacy and Citizenship”

When: March 18th @ 7:00PM

Where: Holicong Auditorium

Why: To create dialogue in our community about the role technology plays in the lives of our children.

Kindergarten/1st Grade Registration - 2015-16

Do you have a child who will be 5 years old on or before August 31, 2015? If so, Central Registration is open for families who need to enroll their children for next school year. Please Click Here for information on how to register your child for kindergarten or 1st Grade. If you know of any neighbors or friends who have students who will be age 5 or older - on or before August 31, 2015, - please remind them to register their child.


The sooner Buckingham students are registered, the more effective the school can be with enrollment projections and number of class sections for next year.

Science - April 27&28 (Grade 4 only)


Please make every attempt to have your child at school on-time each of the assessment days. We ask that appointments are rescheduled - as best as possible. Any missed sections will be completed on designated "Make-Up Dates."


Children should have plenty of sleep and a nutritious breakfast each day. We are proud of our Buckingham Students and eager for the children to show what they know! Good luck!

CB Cares Boomerang Nominations

March: #28 Integrity. Young person acts on his/her convictions and stands up for his/her beliefs. Young person talks openly about what he/she believes in and values: they “talk the talk and walk the walk.”

School Happenings

Art Mobile Comes to Buckingham

The Bucks County Art Mobile arrived at Buckingham following a few days off from snow. After some adjusted schedules, students enjoyed learning the details of the Fine Line exhibits. It was a hands-on experience providing students with an appreciation of the various art media on display. Creativity and inspiration peaked during the time students experienced the Art Mobile!

Buckingham Responds - United Way's: Operation Helping Hand!

The Buckingham Community provided non-perishable foods in the District-Wide effort sponsored by the United Way of Bucks County. Each Grade Level participated in providing foods to help replenish local food banks. Buckingham Elementary is proud to participate in this event and thanks all the families for your generous donations!

iPads in the Primary Grades!

Central Bucks Technology Initiative has provided small classroom sets of iPads for all CB schools in our Primary grade levels - recently delivered to Buckingham! Students utilize educational apps and learning activities within Centers and to enhance the instruction in our classrooms!

Buckingham General PTO Meeting - 3/19 - Holicong Principal, Mr. Kevin Shillingford

On Thursday, March 19th - the Buckingham PTO is pleased to welcome Mr. Kevin Shillingford, Holicong Principal, to share information and expectations for the Middle School Years. Mr. Shillingford was announced as the new Holicong Principal at the beginning of the year, and this last "speaker series" will provide the Buckingham Community with an opportunity to meet him in person!


Refreshments begin at 9:30AM with Mr. Shillingford beginning his address at 10:00AM. We hope to see you there!

  • *FAMILY NIGHTS: Monday & Tuesday 6:00pm – 8:00pm (From 3:30pm-4:00pm, Parents may escort their children to the library from the main office)
