Annual Cancer Registry Seminar

The Pennsylvania Cancer Registry (PCR) invites you to attend a FREE training course to learn about a career as a cancer registrar and the basics of cancer data collection.

The goal in offering this training is to educate qualified audiences about the cancer registry profession, to enhance their employment opportunities and to fill the demand for cancer registrars in hospitals and the PCR.

The demand for comprehensive cancer data has expanded employment opportunities for the cancer registrar to include every level of the cancer surveillance community, including: hospitals, state cancer registries, regulatory agencies, accrediting organizations, researchers, pharmaceutical firms, software vendors and contract service providers.

For the health information professional, a career in cancer registration requires minimal additional training.

Continental breakfast will be served.

Saturday, April 30th, 9am-3:30pm
