STEAM CAMP OPPORTUNITIES
Started in 2016, Delran Public Schools entered into a STEM Ecosystem model, allowing for higher education, business, industry and community partners to collaborate on resource sharing and collaboration to increase STEM learning for ALL students. Exposure to STEM learning provides a pipeline to college and career competencies for the 21st Century learner. In addition, “summer slide” is reduced and deeper levels of learning occur in a less restrictive environment than the traditional class day schedule. In a state of the art facility at Delran High School, campers experience the real work of researchers, scientists and engineers.
Would you like to volunteer for Steam Camp? Click HERE to apply!. For those who are thinking about education as a career, this is a great way to interact with younger children and support their learning.

ATHLETIC NEWS
Mr. Guidotti's Update
The Winter 2018-2019 season has come to an end and we are so proud of the effort that was shown by the teams that remained.
The Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball teams both played their first round game away on Monday, February 25th. Even though both teams were eliminated from the tournament, the students who participated showed great energy and made our community proud by playing until the final whistle.
The Delran Wrestling team had an exciting end to their season. Some of the students placed in the various post season tournaments. Zachary Zuckerman, Berkant Haliloglu, Zachary Bohn and Bryan Miraglia were a District 24 Champion. Bryan Miraglia was a Region 6 Champion and posted a 3-2 record at the NJSIAA state championships in Atlantic City last weekend. Bryan Miraglia has been a great role model for the Wrestling program and has ended his wrestling career at Delran High School as the winningest wrestler in school history. Emma Matera was a runner up at the Girls Region Tournament and was awarded 4th place at the NJSIAA State Championships. Emma is only a freshman so we are excited to see her wrestling career unfold in front of our eyes.
The Spring 2019 season began on Friday, March 1st with snow. The teams are trying their best to get outside in the freezing temperatures but the students and coaches are excited and the Delran community looks forward to watching our students compete at a high level once again.
Go Bears!
