Nurse's Corner News & Tips
· If your student has a health condition or needs special care during the school day such as medication, treatments or monitoring, please inform the school nurse.
· All medication must be dropped off by a parent/guardian in the Nurse’s office (this includes cough drops). Students are not allowed to carry medication unless ordered by their doctor.
· Vision and Hearing Screening will be conducted for all PK, KG, 1st, 3rd and 5th graders. Please remind your child to bring their eyeglasses to school every day.
· In support of National Head Lice Prevention Month: Please encourage children to take baths daily and care for their hair.

PTA Reflections Contest - "Heroes around Me"
Pre-K through 6th grade, do you enjoy art, music and dance or have an interest in writing, producing films and taking photos? Join us and have fun unleashing your inner artist with PTA Reflections! This year’s theme is “Heroes around Me” and calls for your own special way of sharing it through the arts.
Pick up submission guidelines and an entry form today outside of Mrs. Bentley’s office, near the Library, and return your entry by Thursday, October 25th. The entry form and flyer are attached.
We challenge each class to come up with one entry per category!
