St. Jude School

A Note from the Principal
As we enter the final stretch of our Annual St. Jude Parish Festival fundraiser, I wanted to take a moment to thank the 20% of families that have already pledged their support and remind others there is still plenty of time to participate. This year, the students did NOT receive paper tickets to sell as in previous years. Below are the instructions on accessing raffle tickets electronically. This is the only delivery method available. The goal is set for $30,000 in ticket sales, and we are currently at $17,430. Won't you please consider purchasing tickets, or asking friends and family, to support our community?
Each student has a separate link that directly ties to their account, OR they can promote the main raffle page, and buyers can select one or more students from the raffle page.

If we all work together and meet the goal of $30,000. we will have FREE DAY in the future, where there will be NO SCHOOL.
Finally, if parents want amounts allocated differently between their children or are missing “credit” for ticket sales, please contact Jill Barber at JBarber@swgeneral.com.

St. Jude alumni, and two-time Olympic Silver Medalist, Brianne McLaughlin to offer hockey clinic!
I wanted to make sure you were all aware of a very exciting opportunity the Monsters announced last Thursday. For the first time ever, the Monsters are hosting a Girls Street Hockey Clinic at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Saturday, October 10th. This is the first-ever girls-only event the Monsters have hosted under the Grow the Game platform. An even more exciting detail is that the head coach running the clinic is none other than Cleveland native, St. Jude School ( Class of 2001) and Elyria Catholic alumni, and two-time Olympic Silver Medalist, Brianne McLaughlin!
For only a $10 donation to the Monsters Community Foundation, girls ages 5 – 14 will receive 60-minutes of hockey instruction followed by a 30 minute Q&A with Brianne about her experience playing hockey throughout her career. Also included in registration is an exclusive ‘Girls Grow the Game’ t-shirt (pictured in the email) and a ticket to a future Monsters home game.
This event is geared towards beginners with little to no experience AND players that have prior hockey experience. This is an incredible opportunity for girls of all skill levels to get in front of someone that has played at the collegiate and national level with years of prior coaching experience.
