Friday Focus-Mitchell Middle School
It's the Anniversary edition!
Prime Time
On the surface they don't seem to creative with their name, but I would imagine that naming a restaurant is not an easy task. You want it to portray who you are, what you are about, and, above all else, be catchy enough for people to remember. For this business, it is not just a name. Prime Time is their motto, and, from what I understand, everything is top-notch. The outside of the building is nothing fancy, but inside is a bit more luxurious, and the menu is only the best cuts of meat, the most savory sides, and cheesecake that could be your main course! Rumor has it that they don't serve, or even have, ketchup. Asking for this condiment is an insult to the cook! The restaurant, their motto, and attention to detail are a great reminder for us of the importance of Prime Time and how we use it in the classroom.
What do you do during prime time one and prime time two so that students are fully engaged and learning? Take a second to reflect on practices, procedures, and, if necessary, switch up the first 10-15 minutes of class. Prime time is one of the most productive times during class. Take note from the restaurant in Huron and don't sacrifice anything!

Today is the First Anniversary!
Thanks to Todd Whitaker, and thanks to each of you! Keep the info coming in and the great lessons going out to the kids! This is a great building to work at, but that is only because of who I get to work with.
