Revised AMP Schedule

We are pleased to share that we have made revisions to our weekly AMP (Art, Music & PE) schedule to include an extension of PE for all students K-5. All students K-5 will now have the opportunity to participate in our Wellness class which is called Flex facilitated by Mrs. Curtis. This class will be an extension of PE in that students will be engaged in activities that promote and support whole body health and wellness. Some of the activities/lessons that students may be engaged in are: brain exercises, yoga, anti-bullying lessons, leadership, and much more. Mrs. Curtis will be collaborating and working closely with Coach Mistr as well as Mrs. Andrew to align the instruction and to make this a fun and meaningful experience for all students. The weekly AMP schedule for our classroom will be shared with you. If you have any questions regarding this revision, please contact Mrs. Record via email (recordd@friscoisd.org).

Telling is Not Tattling: Reporting Bullying

Part of being a safe school at Pink Elementary involves providing a way for students and parents to report when someone has witnessed bullying. There are a few ways to report bullying. Each classroom has yellow forms students can fill out and give to their teacher or turn in to the office. There is also a link on Mrs. Andrew’s website that goes to a confidential form that will be monitored and investigated. You can always email your child’s teacher if you know of a problem happening at school. Thank you for working with our staff to make Pink a safe place to be!
