Seeking Class Parent Volunteers for 2019-2020
Hoping to be a class parent for the 2019-2020 school year at Lafayette? Then throw your name in the ring by adding your name to the sign-up below. Don’t forget to include your Lafayette student’s name! When the class lists become available in mid-August, we will work to place as many volunteers as possible as class parents. Expect to hear from one of your grade level coordinators (listed below) by the end of the summer. Thanks for volunteering! Here's the link: https://signup.com/go/jtSLXYF

We ask that the students wear a blue or white shirt or dress for the Moving Up Ceremony and no athletic attire. Sneakers are okay.
Please know this is a short group ceremony, not an individual photo-opt ceremony.
NOTES FROM THE NURSE
Please remember to stop by the Health Office to pick up your child's medication NO LATER than 12:30pm on June 20th. You can pick up your child’s medication anytime during the school day. Please be assured I do have stock Epi-Pens and Benadryl for students with food allergies. I do not have stock inhalers. Your child’s medication needs to be picked up by yourself or another designated adult who brings in written permission signed by a parent or guardian. I CAN NOT give students any medication to transport home and all medications left here after that time will be disposed of. Please remember when you pick up your child’s medication to also pick up new forms to be completed over the summer for the 2019-2020 school year.
This summer, I will be in the Health Office at Lafayette School on the following to receive these forms and your child’s medication.
- Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 9am – 2pm
- Tuesday, August 13, 2019 from 9am – 2pm
If your child is going to Chatham Middle School the nurse is Sue Butler sbutler@chatham-nj.org, 973-457-2506 option 4. Please feel free to contact her with any procedural questions. I will periodically check my emails over the summer, so please feel free to send an email with any questions or concerns.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my year at Lafayette School and getting to know all of your children. Have a relaxing and safe summer and I look forward to speaking with you all soon.
