Student ID's must be worn at all times!!!!!!!

On Monday, January 9th, all students were given student IDs with plastic sleeves and lanyards. All secondary students in Fort Bend ISD will be required to wear student identification and have IDs prominently displayed above their waist. Student identification is essential to recognizing who is always on our campus. We know this has been a big adjustment, so we made this as clear as possible and gave students a short transition period to develop the daily ritual of wearing IDs. We will need your help reminding your child to wear their IDs daily.

Students were given a window between January 9th and January 17th to start practicing wearing IDs daily without consequence. After that window closed, students were assigned a discipline in the absence of wearing IDs beginning January 18th.

Students were given three free temporary IDs issued as colored wristbands. After the 4th missing ID, a new ID badge is printed for $5. The 5th infraction will require parent contact, and students are assigned detention. Beyond the 5th infraction, additional disciplinary consequences will be added.

We know this process will take time and teamwork, but we believe this will significantly reduce unwanted visitors on campus and help safely identify our students.

We appreciate your support!

Wear your id!!!!!!!

FBISD Transportation and Travis High School

To all parents, guardians, and all who may be dropping off and picking up students. For the safety of all our students, we ask that you abide by the rules when driving at all times. In particular, please do not drive on or block our Special Services Bus Ramp. It is the half-circle driveway located near Harlem Road in the rear of Travis High School. This is a dangerous violation as we have some students that will need assistance departing and boarding a bus. We have worked out a plan with our FBISD transportation. Please be aware that cones and barriers will be put in place in order to assist. They are not there for you to drive around, nor for you to live out your dream as a stunt driver. Thank you for your assistance with this and for keeping all our students safe.
