Prayers
Please keep eight year old Aaron Moran, brother to Avery (5th) and Caleb (8th) in your prayers. On December 13th, Aaron is having surgery. Aaron has autism, hydrocephalus, cerebral palsy and epilepsy due to his premature birth. After years of failed efforts to control his seizures with medications, the decision was made to do surgery in hopes of reducing and possibly eliminating the seizures. On the 13th, Dr. Donahue at Cook Children's Hospital will perform a functional hemispherectomy on Aaron. The surgery involves removing the left side of Aaron's brain. This is the side that sustained the most damage from a stroke Aaron suffered at birth. This is where Aaron's seizures are originating from, and the hope is that by removing the damaged portion of the brain, the seizures will cease. Please lift the Moran family up in prayer as they will be in the hospital for 3-4 weeks. A sign-up genius for meals will be set up on our school website no later than Tuesday, December 6th. If wanting to contribute through gift cards, SCRIP will be available in the office and Mrs. Malloy will collect and deliver cards to the Moran family.
Please keep all of our teachers, students, and family members healing from sickness, surgeries, and medical concerns in your prayers.
Pray that we grow closer to Christ in every word we speak, every person we encounter, and every step we take.
Continue to pray for our Bishop, priests, administrators, educators, and parents as we continue to guide these young disciples closer to Christ.
