BCSD Staff Shout-out

Please join me in recognizing and celebrating staff members of the Berea City School District and the measures that they take to care for your child each and every day.

If there is a staff member that you or your child would like to recognize (bus driver, teacher, principal, school counselor, secretary, etc.) please let me know.

Our staff has been doing such an awesome job during these very difficult times, and your support and words of encouragement matter!

Thank you!

Tracy L. Wheeler
Superintendent

FAMILY FIRST NIGHT

The Berea City School District is planning on having "Family First Night" on Monday, November 9th. This is a tradition that we started last year as a district-wide event for all BCSD families to have a night to spend time together without any school commitments.

Although this year is certainly different, we still want to provide this very important time for families to connect as this may be more important now than it has ever been. There will be no school assignments, no athletic practices, and no after school activities on this night. School employees are also encouraged to leave right at the end of their scheduled work day so they, too, can go home and spend some time with their families.

Thank you to the following district businesses for participating! These offers are only available on Monday, November 9th between 4:30-8:30 p.m. Business hours may vary. Be sure to mention Family First Night or show this newsletter.

Berea Branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library
7 Berea Commons, Berea
We invite families to try cooking with a book. We will display a variety of picture books for families to check out and share, each of which includes a recipe to try.
