Preschool Expansion Program
The South Brunswick School District is excited to announce its Preschool Expansion Program. This begins January 17, 2023 for currently enrolled students. Interested families that are not currently enrolled in preschool programs in SBSD will have an opportunity to submit names for a “lottery” that will take place after February 1, 2023.
Personal Items
As a reminder, students should not be bringing personal items/toys to school, unless directed to do so by their teacher. We are not responsible for the damage, loss, or theft of any item brought in. The school provides items for play during both indoor and outdoor recess, so students are not permitted to use their own personal items during that time.
The Cougar Council celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his messages of love by creating three hearts on our Main Hallway bulletin boards using hand cut outs of all of our students and staff.
"HATE IS TOO GREAT OF A BURDEN TO BEAR. I HAVE DECIDED TO LOVE."- DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.
The Cougar Council proudly purchased the needed supplies and provided over 100 supply bags to those students who signed up for the COUGAR COUNCIL DAY OF SERVICE PROJECT! We are so proud of those students who gave back this past Monday, in memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Once all of the utensil bundles are received back, they will be donated to Elijah's Promise in New Brunswick.
Please support the Cougar Council in their FUN PASTA FUNDRAISER. The funds raised will help the Cougar Council in their ability to help others and sponsor activities for our students. Our fundraiser will end on Tuesday, January 31. Please see the following commercial from the Cougar Council regarding the Fun Pasta Fundraiser.
Don't forget that the Cougar Council is currently conducting a NEWSPAPER DRIVE for Second Chance For Animals. Our collection will end on Friday, February 3. Please see the following commercial from the Cougar Council regarding the Newspaper Drive.
The 100th DAY OF SCHOOL is tentatively (barring no inclement days) Wednesday, February 15th. The Cougar Council invites your students to dress up like they are 100 years old!
