We’ve had a great week of rehearsals. All three bands are coming together on their UIL music, the students are prepared to perform their ensembles this weekend, and the Diamonds show is beautiful. We also had an opportunity to welcome our new freshmen families yesterday night.

Please try on your current uniform. If it does not fit, please sign up for a time slot below to get fitted for a different uniform next week. If it does fit and you have all of the correct pieces, you are good to go.

If you are a 100% virtual student:

You do not need to do anything at this time.

New Member “Q and A” Meeting

Tomorrow, Saturday, February 6th at 1:00PM, we will host the CHHS Ensemble Contest (for this year, this event takes the place of the normal GCISD Ensemble Contest).

Our very own All State trombonist and Drum Major, Kimmy Nelson, placed with an honorable mention at the International Trombone Association Gilberto Gagliardi competition! This is a huge honor at an extremely competitive event! Way to go :)

If you have talents related to digital scrapbooking or photo management, please consider building our 2020-2021 band yearbook! This is a fun, at-home job and we all appreciate the outcome. Yearbooks are generally completed by mid-April and distributed in late May (2020 notwithstanding...).
