The Ludwig Ledger
November 2022
Dear Ludwig Families,
As we enter the month of November, lots of events are starting to pop up on our calendar. Please take a read through the information below, and see the attached .pdf flyers, as we want to ensure all of our families are aware of what’s taking place at Ludwig School over the next month!
Most importantly, as we head into the holiday season, take a minute to reflect with your family about all that you are thankful for this year. At today’s Monday Morning Meeting, we talked about what it meant to be thankful and how to show our gratitude. This will be a common discussion point across all of our classrooms during the month of November. Students will have the opportunity to fill out a turkey feather and list what they are thankful for. These feathers will be placed around the turkey that’s hanging outside of Ludwig’s main office. Be sure to check out the turkey during P/T conferences, and/or see pictures on our social media accounts, as it grows with all the things that we’re thankful for!
Sincerely,
Mr. Kulik
End of Trimester 1
Trimester 1 ended on Friday, November 4th. Teachers are working on finalizing report cards this week. Your child will bring home their report cards, in a report card envelope, on Friday, November 11th. Please return the envelope to school the following week, to be used again for Trimester 2 and Trimester 3 report cards.
Veterans Day Recognition Assembly
We are honored to be able to salute and honor our veterans at our Veterans Day Ceremony on Friday, November 11th at 8:45am. Due to space limitations, only our Veterans and their immediate family members are able to attend. I encourage all students and staff to wear red, white, and blue to school on the 11th. Thank you to all of our nation’s Veterans, across all branches, for your service!
P/T Conferences
Parent teacher conferences will be held on Monday, November 21st and Tuesday, November 22nd. Please take the opportunity to sign up HERE, if you haven’t already done so. Also, see the flyer below for more details. We hope to see you there!
