Elementary Schools: $1.10 Breakfast, $2.55 Lunch

Secondary Schools: $1.35 Breakfast, $2.70 Lunch

Reduced Meals: $.30 Breakfast, $.40 Lunch

It's not too late: Please complete a financial assistance form on Harmony during your registration process. Also, don’t forget to “Set it and Forget It” on www.myschoolbucks.com to refill your student’s lunch account. Our district is an online payment district, however, if it is necessary to pay by check, please do so prior to school starting at the Nutrition Services Director’s office located at the RBBCSC Service Center. 812-876-7100

S.T.E.A.M. Family Challenge Info!

Calling all MAKERS! Do you consider yourself a Maker?

The OCTOBER TEAM FAMILY CHALLENGE is posted on the R-BB STEAM webpage! Click here to download the challenge, visit the R-BB STEAM Facebook page (@RBBSTEAM), or ask your classroom teacher! There are also design planning and reflection pages posted on our STEAM webpage, that you can print for your child to record his/her designs and share with classmates!

Looking for even more opportunities to design and MAKE at home? Check out these fun PUMPKIN SCIENCE ACTIVITIES from Little Bins for Little Hands, a great resource for hands-on, at-home, STEAM FUN!

Looking for even more opportunities to design and MAKE at home? Contact the STEAM Coach in your child’s school about checking out a MAKEngineering kit created in IU’s MILL Makerspace! These kits are an easy way for your children to introduce you to STEAM! You can find out more about the grant-funded project by emailing makengineeringkits@gmail.com, or by visiting their Facebook page: STEM Education Research Group at IUB (@IUBSTEMeducation).

BOX TOPS BASH -- Friday, October 20th 6:30pm-8:30pm

EJHS students are invited to enjoy a night of games, raffles, and dancing! The theme is Edgewood, so students are encouraged to wear their new Edgewood Apparel or red/black/white. Tickets will be $5 at the door, and concessions will be available for purchase. Please see the following links for additional information regarding volunteer and donation opportunities. Looking forward to partnering with you for a great event!

URBAN AIR FUNDRAISING NIGHT -- Monday, November 6th 5p-8p

Come out for a fun night of jumping that benefits EJHS! The cost is $15 per person for an all access, 2 hour jump pass. This event is open to anyone! Participants just need to let the front desk know that they are there in support of EJHS to get the special rate. If you are a Kroger shopper, you can now benefit EJHS simply by doing what you do every week, grocery shopping! Follow these directions to get the EJHS PTO linked to your Kroger Plus Card. Then, every time you use your Plus Card, Kroger makes us a donation. Anyone is welcome to participate in this program. They do not need to have a student in the district or even live in the area! They just need to shop at Kroger and link their Plus Card.

Step 1: Go to krogercommunityrewards.com.

Step 2: Click ‘create an account,’ or if you already have an account, sign in and skip to step 5.

Step 3: Enter account information, and click ‘create an account.’

Step 4: Add your Kroger card and click ‘save.’

Step 5: Click ‘enroll’ under the community rewards header.

Step 6: Type “EDGEWOOD JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL PTO” or our number 11557, and hit ‘search.’

Step 7: Select EDGEWOOD JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL PTO and click ‘enroll.’

Step 8: Optional: Register your phone # as your alternate ID so you can use it at the register.

Step 9: Use your card or phone number when shopping at Kroger to fundraise for EJHS

4-H Information

Mini 4-H Halloween Spooktacular:

The Purdue Extension – Monroe County Office will be holding a Mini 4-H Halloween Spooktacular party October 24th, 2017, 6-8 PM at the Monroe County Fairgrounds Auditorium.

This event is totally free and open to all kids enrolled in grades K-2nd and their families. There will be games, contests and prizes throughout the night with the costume contests and costume parade beginning at 7 pm. Come dressed in you Halloween costume for a fun night of trick or treating while learning about the awesome clubs Monroe County 4-H has to offer. Mini 4-H enrollment begins October 1st, 2017 through January 5th, 2018, there will be computers and staff at the event for those who wish to enroll in mini 4-H (enrollment fee is $5). 4-H Enrollment is Almost Here!

Fall time means you can get signed up for another fantastic year of 4-H! 4-H in Monroe County is open to any student currently enrolled in Kindergarten through 12th grade. On October 1st, enrollment will open! Click HERE to log in and enroll for another year or to create an account for a new 4-H member. If you have questions or would like to learn more about 4-H contact the Monroe County Extension Office at 812-349-2575 or e-mail monroeces@purdue.edu. You can also visit the Extension Office any day M-F from 8:00am to 4:00pm to enroll or visit during our extended hours: October 12 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, December 13 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm or January 10 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
