Cardiorespiratory System
Stephany Carreon
Introduction
I'm going to be talking about the cardiorespiratory system. It has to do with the heart and how its helps other systems.
How does the cardiorespiratory work?
It maintains body temperature absorbing heat through blood flow to the skin. The two main organs are the heart and blood vessels. The Cardio-respiratory system is a body system composed of the cardiovascular system and the respiratory system. The cardiovascular system consists of the heart and blood vessels while the respiratory system consists of the lungs and air passages. The combined systems work hand in hand to provide the body with nutrients and oxygen as well as removal of waste products like carbon dioxide from the body.
Cardiorespiratory System
In order to do this effectively the cardiovascular system is divided into two circuits, known as the pulmonary circuit and the systemic circuit. Protection of the body by white blood cells, antibodies, and complement proteins that circulate in the blood and defend the body against foreign microbes and toxins. The respiratory and cardiovascular systems work together to deliver oxygen to the cells and to remove carbon dioxide. The cardiovascular system deliver's blood to the body's tissue.
Exercise for Cardiorespiratory System
The body releases adrenaline even before the person starts to sweat. The more you exercise the stronger your lungs will be. Doing endurance exercise like swimming improves your muscle strength.
