Lead Time Goals....Set, Followed, Celebrated!
Our behavior coach, Mr. Wellington, will come around at the end of each week and track each classroom's progress. The data will be transferred to our school-wide Lead Time Focus board.
If we get 100% of our classes (30 out of 30) meeting their goal for the week, we are going to CELEBRATE as a school. We struggled a little this week with a total of 70% of our classes meeting their Lead Time Goals, but I think soon we will be celebrating our school-wide success. Ask your child what their class goal was for the week!
Mrs. White's Class The class is setting a goal to keep their hands by their side in the hallways. | Ms. Franklin's Class Ms. Franklin's class is working on quiet transitions while moving to other subject areas. | Mrs. Le's Class Setting a goal for keeping a level zero in the hallways while using the restrooms. |

First Home Football Game and Pirates ROCK Community Tailgate - Friday, September 3
This Friday is the Pirates first home football game (Pirate Stadium, 7 p.m. kickoff). Before the game, Price Chopper in Platte City is hosting our Pirates ROCK Kickoff and Community Tailgate! Come join the community before the Pirates take on the Kearney Bulldogs for the Highway 92 Showdown. Tailgate is from 5-7 p.m.; performances by PCHS drumline, cheerleaders and dance team from 5-6 p.m. Free hot dogs, chips, water, popcorn, and FUN! See flier for details.
Football fans: Due to construction, we will only be using the north gate for Pirate games this year. To avoid waiting in long lines at the gate, we highly encourage ALL fans to use our digital ticket option. You can purchase digital tickets by clicking the link below and simply use your phone or device to show that ticket to our gate workers. Admittance to the game is $5 for adults; $3 for students. PCHS students who show their school ID, and persons aged 55 and older showing a valid ID are free.
Platte County vs Kearney Football Tickets
Football game reminders: Pirate football games are a time for us all to gather and enjoy some fantastic company and great sports. Please remind your students that the football stadium is an extension of the classroom, and appropriate behavior and good sportsmanship are expected. As a reminder, elementary students should be supervised by a parent and with you at all times.
