Life Cycle Puppet Shows
Reporter: Betsy
This week on Monday, a puppeteer came to Claxton and taught us about shadow puppets. She also announced that the 2nd grade will be putting on puppet shows about the life cycles of many different animals and insects. Each 2nd grade class will be split into groups with 4 to 5 other class members. The second grade classes will also be assigned 4 different animals to give to different groups so that all the puppet shows will be different. In Mrs. Morris' class, one group is doing a puppet show on the life cycle of a seahorse. Another group is doing the life cycle of a ladybug. One group is doing a snake, and another group is doing a grey wolf. This week we have been researching the life cycle of our animal and we are writing scripts for our puppet shows.

We will have a family picnic outside (weather permitting) following the awards time to continue our celebration at 11:15ish. We would appreciate your support if you are willing to help. Students will either purchase lunch at school or bring a lunch from home, but we can supplement their lunch with some exciting picnic options. Please join us by packing a lunch for yourself.
