Watertown Middle School 2019-2020
Good morning and Happy Monday! I hope this community bulletin finds you and your family, near and far, healthy and well. I know my family and I are enjoying the warmer weather!
I am hopeful that you all were able to view your children's Progress Reports on PowerSchool. If you had issues with this process, please email me. We would like to know that everyone was able to view the progress reports, as well as get some feedback on the process.
** If you would take a couple of minutes and fill out the following brief Google Form, it would be much appreciated. Please fill out one form for each WMS child. Thank you in advance!
Where is the time going? We have about four weeks left before summer vacation, and we will be continuing to encourage students to keep their focus on their learning as new content is being taught and our expectations are high. If students have any questions at all, they should reach out to their teachers or guidance counselor. We are all here to support them both academically and with any social-emotional issues they may have.
***Important*** If your contact information has changed at all (phone numbers, email, home address) please contact me as soon as possible. We want to be able to get important information out to families without delay.
I hope you all have a wonderful week.
Take good care of each other,
All my best,
Donna

VIRTUAL MUSICFEST - Submit by May 27th!
Calling all musicians!
Corona may be keeping us apart but it isn't keeping us silent. The music lives within us, bringing us laughter, joy, strength and solace. The Watertown Public Schools Fine, Applied and Performing Arts Department, in collaboration with Friends of Watertown Music, invites all Watertown musicians, students, teachers, families, and community members to join us in a musical celebration.
If you would like to be part of the first ever Virtual MusicFest, please use this form (link below) to submit a video of yourself performing. By submitting a video, you are giving permission for this video to be posted on the internet via our soon-to-be-created Virtual MusicFest website and various social media platforms.
You will need a gmail account to access this form. If you do not have a gmail address and are unable to easily acquire one, please contact Ms. Schneider (morgan.schneider@watertown.k12.ma.us) or your music teacher for an alternative way to join Virtual MusicFest.
Let's spread the joy of music beyond our homes and share it throughout our community!
DEADLINE: Wednesday, May 27th
