Welcome Back Magee Students
On behalf of the staff and faculty, we wish the students and families of Magee a healthy and successful 2023. We are so excited to start the second half of the school year with our students. Thank you to all who generously gave a gift to teachers before the holidays. It is very much appreciated. Our staff is much rested and charged up for all the excitement the second half will bring. Thank you for making Magee Middle School a part of your families' education experience.

After School Program Schedule-January
Magee continues with its after school program every week. Our program is completely free and includes a daily snack, transportation is also available to those that qualify.
Monday: ELA tutoring 3-4 pm, STEM/VR club 3-5pm, Yoga 4-5pm, Sports 3-5pm
Tues: Math Tutoring 3-4pm, Minecraft 3-5 PM, Lego club 3-5pm, Sports 3-5 pm
Wed: Book club 2-3:30pm, Chess club 2-4pm, Yearbook 2-4pm. Sports 2-4pm
Thurs: Lego club 3-5pm, Dungeons and Dragons 3-5 pm, Drama 3-5:30pm, Sports 3-5pm
Friday: Art Club 3-5 pm, Sports 3-5 pm
Tucson Unified School District Revises Dress Code
Boys Soccer and Girls Soccer Ready to Start
Magee athletics will start it's Season 3 sports program on Monday, January 9th. There will be separate boys and girls soccer teams. Our Magee Roadrunners will be competing for the Pantano Division titles against competitor schools Gridley, Secrist, Borman, Doolen, and Vail.

As with all sports, students must have their physical clearance forms competed. The links to the eligibility forms are here. Note that parents may use any doctor or nurse for the required physical, but it must be on the district form.

Free On Campus Covid Testing
Magee Middle School continues to offer free weekly COVID testing for any interested students. This program is funded by the state of Arizona. If you are interested for your son or daughter to sign up for this program, please use the links below. Testing takes place on Monday mornings in the cafeteria.
Counselor Corner 💛
- 8th grade students have been meeting with their prospective high school counselors for course selection. Sahuaro, Sabino, Palo Verde and Santa Rita have visited with our 8th grade students. Please check with your student about their course section and contact me if you need additional support with their transition to high school. Thank you!
If you have concerns about your child, please reach out. Magee is connected with many outside *free* resources for counseling services. Many times, we can get them mental health support within a few days.
