Rape, Sexual Assault & Pornography: Dealing With Realities Students Face (Psych Series)
National expert, Dr. John Foubert, will present cutting edge research on the nature of rape, sexual assault, and pornography use in K-12 settings. He will balance theoretical, research, and practical perspectives on each topic in a lively informative presentation. Dr. Foubert uses trauma-informed, data-based practices to write and speak about sexual assault prevention, bystander intervention, and the harms of pornography.

Dr. John Foubert, LLC, is an interdisciplinary scholar and thought leader who holds the position of Highly Qualified Expert – Senior Advisor for Sexual Harassment and Assault Response and Prevention Program with the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, United States Army. He is also Professor of College Student Development and of Higher Education and Student Affairs at Oklahoma State University.
Dr. Foubert has been a guest several times on CNN and NPR and is cited regularly in news outlets like the New York Times, U.S. News and World Report, and the Huffington Post. Dr. Foubert has testified before Congress and has been called upon by the White House and the Pentagon about how to end sexual violence.
