Writing Workshop News
We continued our list writing this week by making a list of ways we can help out at home. We hope you enjoy the Helping Hands coupon book coming your way in folders today.
We had some special visitors today, Dr. Dave and Miss Heather, Abby's aunt and uncle who taught about preserving rain forests.
A fun Storytime
Last Friday we enjoyed a super fun story time when Mr. Meurer told us his own animated versions of The Gingerbread Man and Goldilocks and Three Bears.
We really enjoyed sharing our holiday traditions in class this week. Our Holiday class book is almost complete and will join several other class books in circulation. When a class book comes home, please read it with your child that evening and return it the next day if at all possible so someone else can take it home. Today your child is also bringing home their "box of wishes" so they can spread joy and peace and love at home too!
We will celebrate the holidays with a "gingerbread" house party on Monday. thanks to everyone who volunteered to send in some goodies!
Project bags will come home again next Wednesday full of gifts and special holiday projects. If your child will not be here next on Wed., 12/23, please let me know ASAP so I can be sure to send it home early. Thanks!
