Tiger Paws Parent Newsletter No.10
March 16, 2020
As you are already well aware of, the BCSD has decided to close schools indefinitely due to the Corona virus pandemic. The purpose of this is to be proactive in helping to contain the virus and not prevent the spread of the virus. As a result, we want to ensure that our students continue to have opportunities to learn while they are out of school.
Students at BHMS were notified today of how their teachers would assign classwork to them while they are out of school. Students who indicated that they did not have Internet access nor a device to complete online assignments were given an envelope containing paper copies of assignments from each of their teachers to complete. Those students who have Internet and devices are expected to work in the online platforms that their teachers instructed them to work in. In addition, we made sure that each student has at least one AR book to read at home.
Parent, If you have any questions or concerns the administrative team will be in the building tomorrow, March 17, 2020 from 9:00-1:00 pm working and you may give us a call as we will be more than happy to assist you. In addition, if you child left their packet or needs a packet of work you may stop by the school during those hours to pick one up. Lastly, many of the teachers sent home information on how to communicate with them during their time out of school so please ask your child for this information.
As always, thank you for your support of BHMS.
